I was born and raised in West Valley City, Utah. I have been married for 8 years and have one two-year-old son. I have always had an interest in art, especially drawing and sculpting. I received an art scholarship to SLCC where I pursued my interest in oil painting then transferred to the University of Utah to further my education in art. 

I have been commissioned to do some artwork for West Valley City which is displayed in the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. I have also displayed artwork in Salt Lake County libraries and have participated in many public art viewings in the state of Utah. Some of my work is currently being displayed at the Seasons Gallery in Alpine Utah. 

Most of my paintings are landscapes and western art. During the past few years, I have expanded my art business by doing commissioned portraitures, which has been a great opportunity for me and has also brought a lot of joy to my life.

While growing up, I spent much time in the outdoors, and acquired a particular love for fishing. I also spent a lot of time on my grandfather’s farm in Star Valley, Wyoming.  Many of my paintings reveal these passions and have inspired me in my paintings.  

I have a deep appreciation for all kinds of artwork. My own style of art varies from a loose impressionistic style with bright vibrant colors, to an art style that depicts fine detail.  I have tried all types of oil painting and will continue to study all different forms of art. I believe that there is always room to expand and grow in all forms of talent and hope that I will always have the opportunity to bring joy to others through my own artwork.
